FAST & FURIOUS
Fast & Furious is one of the world’s most successful movie franchises. In 2013, United International Pictures partnered with us to launch Fast & Furious 6 in Malaysia with a high-impact promotional event.
Moviegoers who purchased opening weekend tickets at select cinemas were invited to register for an exclusive drift ride, driven by professional drifters. The campaign created massive buzz—every screening sold out, and the event was a major success.

DC SHOES
In 2007, DC Shoes—one of the world’s top skateboard footwear brands—partnered with us to launch their Southeast Asian marketing campaigns and enter the regional market.
We created targeted strategies for Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore, and supported the selection of key retail and distribution partners. Our deep regional expertise and insight into local consumer behavior played a crucial role in the project’s success.

WHAT’S GOOD x ACCENTURE
In 2012, Accenture Malaysia was competing with two multinational firms for a billion-ringgit contract with a major local telco to revamp its entire backend CRM system.
We were commissioned to produce an 8-hour documentary capturing the full pitch and proposal process—all completed within a tight 2-week deadline. The final film was presented as part of Accenture’s client pitch.
The result: Accenture won the bid and secured the contract.

STREAMING AUDIO
In the early 2000s, before platforms like YouTube or Spotify existed, we helped a Hong Kong-based artist stream her album directly through her website—which we also designed and built.
With no streaming services available at the time, we developed a custom music streaming player using Adobe Flash. This proprietary solution was later adapted for multiple client projects, laying the groundwork for early online audio experiences before mainstream platforms emerged.

SALEM
From 2003 to 2008, we worked exclusively with Salem to curate and manage events of all sizes across Malaysia—ranging from intimate showcases to large-scale concerts featuring top international talent.
We brought in global acts such as FAMA (Hong Kong), 24Herbs (Hong Kong), Craig David (UK), and Chris Fortier (USA), among many others.
This long-term collaboration helped position Salem as one of Malaysia’s most dynamic and energetic tobacco brands during that era.

ASAHI
In 2013, Asahi launched a series of club events across Malaysia to promote its flagship beer, Asahi Super Dry.
We managed the Penang leg of the tour at our client’s venue, handling all aspects of event execution for both the venue and Asahi.
By midnight, the event had already broken Asahi’s national sales record for the most beer sold at any Super Dry event in Malaysia—a record that still stands today.

MOET & CHANDON
Moët & Chandon represents luxury and exclusivity—and our goal was to reflect that in every touchpoint.
Through targeted branding, marketing, and VIP-style event management, we helped our client’s venue become the highest-selling Moët outlet in Malaysia in 2013.
Our events not only broke national sales records but also marked the first time a venue outside Kuala Lumpur outsold all others in the capital.

ABSOLUT VODKA
In 2013, Absolut Vodka launched its Hibiskus flavor nationwide. The Penang launch was held at one of our client’s venues, with full event planning and execution handled by our team.
We managed all aspects—from advertising and promotions to talent curation and live entertainment. By 9 PM, queues stretched down the street, and by the end of the night, we had shattered the national sales record for Absolut Hibiskus—surpassing it by 400%.

CUVÉE
In 2013, a leading Malaysian F&B operator enlisted us to manage the launch and operations of a premium entertainment venue in Penang—Cuvée.
We oversaw every aspect, including marketing, sponsorship, negotiations, and music direction. Within 12 months, Cuvée was crowned Penang’s #1 club and won the HAPA Bronze Award for Best Club in Malaysia.
That same year, Cuvée also achieved the highest Moët & Chandon sales in the entire country.

HOTEL JEN
In 2014, Traders Hotel—part of the Shangri-La Group—underwent a global rebrand, emerging as Hotel Jen to better appeal to the modern millennial business traveler.
We were engaged to support the Penang branch through their RM70 million rebranding, covering brand repositioning, marketing strategy, and audience education.
The result: a successful transformation that positioned Hotel Jen Penang as the go-to destination for the next generation of business travelers.

g HOTEL
When g Hotel opened in Penang, it faced numerous operational challenges across every department.

LOTUS CARS
Around 2010, Lotus cars were struggling with stagnant sales in Malaysia, and the brand was seen as less exciting to local car enthusiasts.
Lotus Cars Malaysia turned to us to make the brand more appealing to a younger demographic. At the time, their youngest customer was 45.
We decided to take the brand racing. Within three months, we attracted 23-year-olds for test drives, leading to a remarkable 500% increase in sales.

LA VIE
In 2016, a talented chef friend of What’s Good? returned from Australia to become the Executive Chef at La Vie, a new restaurant in Penang. Despite his skills, the restaurant wasn’t attracting the number of customers it deserved.
To solve this, we organized an exclusive 30-pax private dinner, “Eat Up,” inviting top social media influencers from Kuala Lumpur and Penang.
The event was hailed as one of the best private dinners ever hosted in Penang, and as a result, La Vie was fully booked for the next six months.

Additionally, we will collaborate closely with DALI to design custom “soundscapes” – personalized sound installations for DALI’s customers.
